Let's get blasting those eggs!
The idea for Easter Annihilation spawned in late 2013 by two newcomers in Finnish music industry. The first steps towards creating the event were taken in a certain dark restaurant near Jyväskylä railway station. When the outlines had been created and the first bands contacted, the production started immediately.
Marko and Shuang started developing the concept and searched for an easy to find venue for metal fans in a central place in Helsinki. What better place than a venue where various Finnish musicians and music industry people are regular customers. Bar Bäkkäri, that is.

BAR BÄKKÄRI - The venue of the event. Bar Bäkkäri is like a second home to many like-minded metal lovers!
FINNISH HEAVY METAL FANS - A community of all metal subgenre fans in Finland. If these guys don't know how to bang their heads, nobody does!
SOUNDGEIST HELSINKI - A gateway for new bands to be discovered. Organized the first time at Nosturi, Helsinki, this event brings together the players in music industry from the long-term business professionals to PR people and to the smaller bands wanting to be discovered!
