Story of our band
Distress of Ruin is a five-pieced melodic death metal band whose journey began in spring 2010. The milestones of their career have been ‘Hyvä Jätkät’-trophy, which is annually awarded to a commendable North Karelian band, granted by Joensuun Popmuusikot ry in autumn 2012, and the release of the ‘Predators Among Us’ EP which saw its daylight in spring 2013. The reception of the EP has been very positive. After having won the RokIt band competition Distress of Ruin got to play a show at Ilosaarirock 2013!
Along the new ‘Insights’ EP Distress of Ruin will step up to a whole new level prepared to attack into abysses of people’s mind!
